Bio
THE FAR STAIRS are Jesse Livingston (guitar, vocals), Michelle Bailey (keys, vocals), Andrew Diaz (bass), and Chris McMasters (drums). Hailing from Denver, Houston, and Colorado Springs, they make guitar- and synth-driven music with the cryptic introspection of a New Pornographers jam, the forlorn sparkle of The Postal Service, and the manic intensity of that one song by Midnight Oil.
In addition to radio play, The Far Stairs have had their music featured on various podcasts and recently inside a hollow tree (an installation by local artist Nikki Pike), finally realizing their life goal to fill an empty park with lonely strains of melody in the indifferent sunlight.
